With a diameter of just 49mm this compact ZIGBEE PIR sensor is supplied with a magnetic base that allows it to be easily adjusted to suit the installation. the sensor enables you to turn on or off your lighting products when a person enters the area of detection and as the sensor is a PIR movement detector it can also warn of an intruder as part of a ZIGBEE security system. Setting up the sensor is done using the free Mi-Light Application through the appropriate gateway (purchased separately).

The sensor is battery powered and takes 1 x 3v CR123A type battery (not included). Twisting the case gives access to the battery compartment and also the pairing button. Insert the battery and then follow the instructions to pair the sensor to your smartphone application through the MI-Light gateway (purchased separately).

The sensor uses the ZIGBEE 3.0 protocol and will detect motion to switch on or off your ZIGBEE lighting products wirelessly. The sensor detection range is up to 7m with a 120deg angle of detection. Once fixed into place the sensor can be easily adjusted without tools to make the most of the detection area.
